Browse and apply for opportunities on the job board

Updated September 23, 2026

Job Board lets you browse and apply to open supervision opportunities yourself — you don't have to wait for a customer success manager to reach out.

What is it?

Previously, supervision opportunities came to you only through a direct invitation from your customer success manager. Job Board is an additional way to find work: eligible opportunities are posted to an open board where you can browse and apply on your own. Applications are reviewed by a customer success manager. Applying early helps, but it's not a guarantee.

The customer success manager can still reach out to you directly at any time — Job Board doesn’t replace that, it just gives you another way to find opportunities.

How does it work?

Only opportunities that match your profile's license type, state, and other preferences will be visible for you. This applies even if your license technically covers more (e.g., a national license) — there's no manual override.

In some cases you may not see a posting even if your license/state match, due to factors tied to a specific opportunity or employer (i.e., specific experience needed, modality, population, etc.) — you are welcome to contact the Motivo support team at support@motivohealth.com if you think there is an issue with your profile.

Don't see anything on the board?

Don’t worry - this just means there isn’t a matching opportunity available for you at the moment. Not every opportunity is posted to the Job Board, and new ones are added as they become available, so an empty board today doesn’t mean there won’t be something tomorrow. We add relevant opportunities as we’re able to, and a customer success manager may still reach out to you directly in the meantime.

How to apply for an opportunity

  1. Log in to your Motivo account and go to your Opportunities page.
  2. Select the Job Board tab to browse currently open opportunities.
  3. Open a posting to review the details including availability needs, clinical experience and setting requirements, documentation expectations, any required training, onboarding steps, etc.
  4. If it's a fit, quickly apply by confirming your availability (with the option to edit your hours/time slots) — we recommend thinking through beforehand whether you can meet the availability window, complete any required training(s), and meet the documentation expectations.
  5. And finally, hit submit! You'll get a confirmation email.

A few things to know:

  • Your answers (like availability) will update your Motivo profile automatically.
  • Applications are reviewed by a customer success manager — so apply as soon as a posting interests you, and be ready to move quickly if you're contacted.

What happens after you apply?

A customer success manager reviews your application and will either accept or reject it:

If you're accepted: The opportunity moves to your Personal Requests tab and continues through the normal next steps, just like a directly requested opportunity. You'll get an email letting you know.

A quick note on intro calls: If you want to schedule an intro call with the supervisee before committing, you're very welcome to do that. Just know that the Job Board moves at the speed of "yes" — if another supervisor is ready to match and go while you're still scheduling an intro call, the opportunity may move forward with them instead. If that happens, your intro call will be cancelled and you'll be notified.

If you're not selected: You'll get an email letting you know the customer success manager moved forward with another supervisor. This isn't a reflection of your qualifications — decisions are based on factors like scheduling and the specific needs of the employer and supervisee.

FAQs about applications and postings

  • What if an opportunity fills or closes while my application is still pending?
Your application is automatically withdrawn and you'll be notified.
  • Can I change my mind after applying?
Yes — you can withdraw your own application at any time before it's accepted.
  • What if a posting I applied to gets taken down?
Postings can be taken down and reposted by the customer success manager. If a posting you applied to is temporarily removed, your pending application isn't affected — only new applications are paused.
  • Can I schedule an intro call after I've already matched?
Yes, though it's not preferred. See this walkthrough for how to do so.

Managing notifications

  • You will get an email digest when new matching opportunities are posted on the job board.
  • You are welcome to turn off the digest notifications at anytime — you can still browse and apply either way.
  • If your profile shows you have no availability for new work, you won't get the digest emails automatically since you already indicated you are not looking — but the board is still fully visible to you in case you change your mind.
