Updating your bandwidth and availability
Your bandwidth and availability settings tell Motivo when and how many supervisees you can take on. Keeping these updated is important because:
- Account Managers rely on them to know which supervisors are available for matches
- Supervisees need to see your availability to book intro calls and sessions
- Motivo uses this information to understand capacity across states and license types, and to plan if we need to recruit more supervisors
By keeping your information current, you ensure you only receive supervision opportunities that fit your schedule and help us match supervisees quickly and accurately.
What’s the difference?
- Bandwidth → Your overall capacity to accept new supervisees
- Availability hours → The specific times you’re available for sessions each week
How to update your bandwidth status
Bandwidth shows your overall capacity for taking on supervisees.
- Log in to your Motivo Dashboard
- Click the Bandwidth icon (top-right corner)
- Choose the option that best reflects your current capacity:
- Ready for opportunities → Open to new supervisee matches and have 5+ hours available
- Limited availability → Can accept only a small number of supervisees with a limited schedule
- No bandwidth → Not accepting new supervisees; your profile will be hidden
How to update your availability hours
Availability hours are the specific days and times you can supervise.
- Click your Profile (top-right corner)
- Select Settings
- Click Calendar
- Select the days and times you’re available to supervise
- To add another slot on the same day → click the plus sign (+)
- To remove a day → clear the time fields
- Save your changes
Why this matters
- Supervisors marked as Ready or Limited availability appear in matching searches and may be offered new supervisees
- Supervisors marked as No bandwidth will not be visible to supervisees or offered new opportunities
- Accurate hours allow supervisees to book intro calls and sessions without delays
- Knowing supervisor capacity helps Motivo plan network coverage — for example, ensuring we have enough supervisors in each state and license type
