This article outlines Motivo's cancellation policy, emphasizing the importance of respecting supervisors' time by adhering to the 24-hour notice requirement for canceling sessions.
At Motivo, we understand the importance of your time and commitment to providing high-quality supervision to your supervisees. Each session you schedule is valuable and requires careful planning. We have established the following cancellation policy to help you manage your schedule effectively.
Cancellation notice requirement If a supervisee is unable to attend a scheduled session, they are required to inform you, preferably in writing, at least 24 hours before the session. Handling last-minute cancellations and no-shows
We acknowledge that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can arise. Therefore, if a supervisee provides less than 24 hours' notice or fails to attend a scheduled appointment, you have the discretion to mark the session as follows:
Canceled with notice: This option is typically selected if the supervisee provides a cancellation notice of more than 24 hours, but you can use your discretion to choose this option if there was less than 24 hours’ notice due to an emergency or unforeseen circumstance. No fees will be charged in this case and you will not receive compensation.
No show/Late cancel: This option is applicable if the supervisee fails to comply with the 24-hour notice cancellation policy. In such a scenario, the supervisee or their employer will be billed for the session, and you will be compensated for your time.
Supervisor discretion for emergencies We trust your professional judgment when handling emergencies. If a supervisee has an emergency, you can make exceptions to the 24-hour notice policy as described above. This flexibility ensures genuine emergencies are treated with the necessary understanding and compassion.
Supervisor adherence to the Cancellation Policy It is equally important for supervisors to adhere to this cancellation policy to maintain consistency and reliability within our program. We expect supervisors to provide a 24-hour notice if they need to cancel a session. This mutual respect for each other's time helps in fostering a professional and efficient working relationship.
By adhering to this policy, both supervisors and supervisees can effectively manage their schedules, respect each other's time, and maintain the high standards of service that Motivo is known for. If a supervisor does not adhere to this policy on multiple occasions, corrective actions may be taken on a case-by-case basis.
