Download hours and gather board-required documents
Updated October 20, 2026
You need recorded hours to use Download, and an active or past supervision relationship to view its shared documents.
Download your hour log
The export is a CSV file that can be opened in spreadsheet software.
- Select Progress.
- Use Filters if you want only a particular source (Motivo or Manually added hours) supervision type (individual, dyad, or group), or supervisor.
- Select Download.
- Open the downloaded
licensure-hours.csvfile. - Review the Date, Hours, Source, Type, and Supervisor columns.
The export follows the filters currently applied. Select Clear filters and download again when you need the full log. If your filters return no hours, the Download button won’t appear until you change or clear them.
Hours carried over from your previous records appear as Legacy hours. These entries don’t include a date or supervisor, so the Date column will say “Legacy hours” and the Supervisor column will be blank.
Gather shared documents
- Select Supervisors.
- Open the relevant supervisor.
- Select Documents.
- Review Your shared documents and open the files you need.
Shared documents can include weekly supervision logs or supervision-hours verification forms. PDF, JPEG, and PNG files can be uploaded, with a 10 MB maximum per file.
There’s no e-signature on Motivo. To get a form signed, upload it, have your supervisor sign it and upload the signed copy, then download it for your records.
You can Rename or Delete only documents you uploaded. Ask the supervisor about changes to a file they uploaded.
Understand the limits
Motivo does not assemble a complete licensing-board packet or confirm that your export meets a particular board’s current requirements. The Progress page also doesn’t show how many hours your board requires, so check your board’s requirements directly.
Keep your own copies of forms, signatures, course records, and other evidence required by your board. Review the CSV and supporting documents for accuracy before submitting them outside Motivo.
