Sales Operations Manager

Full time • Remote •

Motivo is seeking a talented, highly motivated Sales Operations Manager who will play a crucial role in supporting growth and driving efficiency and effectiveness within the sales team. This role will manage inbound prospect interest, delivering demos and managing follow-through to contract signature, engaging the sales and clinical team as appropriate. This role will also focus on optimizing sales processes and managing data that enable the sales team to meet and exceed their targets. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and passionate about supporting a high-performing sales organization.

We are a small team and need someone who thrives in a startup environment where you operate both at the 1,000 foot view and also in the daily details. You are comfortable presenting to C-level individuals but also happy to build your own slide decks. We want someone who is well organized, self-driven, collaborative and enjoys working in a team.

We also want a team of people who have an interest in the mental health industry and are driven by the opportunity to expand access to mental health care by creating more efficiency in the therapist licensure process.

We are a fully remote team, so you are welcome to live and work wherever you choose. Our only requirement is that you are able to maintain at least a 3-4 hour overlap with the US-Eastern time zone on most days. This overlap is primarily required for a limited number of meetings and ad hoc discussions you’ll have with stakeholders. Even though we’re remote, we love getting together in person and hold offsites throughout the year. A few of us are in the greater New York City area and co-work a couple times a month.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Sales Support: Manage inbound sales leads and schedule / deliver demos. Research & catalogue potential new and emerging customer segments.
  • Sales Process Optimization: Analyze and refine sales processes to improve efficiency and productivity. Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and enforce sales policies and procedures. Identify bottlenecks and recommend process enhancements. Act as the primary point of contact for sales operations support and troubleshooting.
  • CRM and Technology Management: Manage and maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring data accuracy and compliance. Train sales and account team members on CRM usage and best practices. Evaluate and implement new sales tools and technologies to streamline operations.
  • Sales Data and Reporting: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, generating regular reports for leadership. Provide insights and forecasts based on data analysis to support decision-making. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends or areas for improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, finance, and customer support teams to ensure alignment on sales strategies and goals. Collaborate with marketing on the development of sales collateral and campaigns to generate sales leads. Facilitate communication between departments to resolve issues and streamline workflows.

Qualities and qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years in sales operations, business analysis, or a similar role.
  • Track Record: Proven track record of supporting sales, improving sales processes and implementing technology solutions.
  • Skills and Competencies: Expertise in CRM systems and sales analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Communication: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Expertise in analyzing sales data, creating reports, and delivering actionable insights.
  • Preferred Experience: Familiarity with sales enablement platforms and marketing automation tools and/or Certification in Salesforce or other relevant technologies. 3+ years in client services and/or consulting based role.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, healthcare management, or a related field.

Compensation and benefits:
