Motivo is excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to work with Motivo as an independent contractor. In this role, you will support various aspects of clinical compliance within our organization. You will be working independently, but reporting to the Clinical Team for the duration of the contract. This position provides a unique chance to gain practical experience in the dynamic field of behavioral health and clinical supervision while contributing to the advancement of our compliance program.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist with audits of state and federal regulatory requirements for virtual supervision across professions, including Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional/Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, and Addiction Counseling.
- Facilitate communication with regulatory boards and stakeholders to gather pertinent information on virtual supervision regulations.
- Monitor board updates to virtual supervision rules and regulations
- Attend board meetings to obtain information related to virtual supervision.
- Assist with completing ongoing audits of supervisor requirements.
Qualities and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong research and data collection skills.
- Strong interest in behavioral health and clinical compliance.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to analyze complex regulatory requirements and devise practical solutions.
- Familiarity with digital health platforms and technologies.
Proficiency in technical processes and systems such as Notion, Google Suite, Zoom, and Slack, with a willingness to learn new software tools.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
