Transform Your Network Into Impact and Income

Are you a well-networked licensed clinician looking for meaningful work that supports the mental health community while generating additional income? Join Motivo, the first therapist-owned and led organization challenging the status quo in clinical supervision and training.

About This Opportunity

We're seeking dynamic Clinical Partnerships Managers to leverage their professional networks and community connections to expand Motivo's reach across community providers, private practices, and organizational partnerships. This role offers the perfect blend of meaningful impact and financial reward for clinicians who understand both the clinical landscape and business development. As a Clinical Partnerships Manager, you'll help us fill the critical white space in mental health by connecting with the 20,000+ community providers (case management, county agencies, non-profits) who need quality supervision solutions. You'll be introducing organizations to a revolutionary approach that allows therapists to work in community settings without having to seek supervision elsewhere.

What Makes This Role Special

Motivo is pioneering a new model in mental health - one that's therapist-owned and led, focused on building genuine community rather than client productivity metrics. We're creating a network centered on high-quality training, supervision, and service delivery that truly supports both therapists and the clients they serve. This isn't just another business development role - it's an opportunity to be part of a movement that's reshaping how clinical supervision works in our field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct community outreach within your designated territory to identify partnership opportunities
  • Engage with community providers, private practices, and healthcare organizations
  • Present Motivo's value proposition to decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Demonstrate how our supervision model can impact organizations' operational efficiency and revenue
  • Build and maintain relationships with key contacts in the mental health ecosystem
  • Identify "low-hanging fruit" opportunities to expand Motivo's presence
  • Participate in networking events, conferences, and professional gatherings
  • Collaborate with our team to develop territory-specific strategies

Performance Expectations

To maintain this contract position, Clinical Partnerships Managers must consistently deliver a minimum of 5 leads per month that either move into active negotiation or successfully convert to partnerships. This ensures both accountability and sustainable growth for Motivo's mission.

Training & Support Structure

Comprehensive Onboarding: You'll receive thorough initial training to ensure you're equipped with everything needed to represent Motivo effectively and understand our unique value proposition.

Ongoing Support: Regular check-in meetings provide consistent guidance, strategy refinement, and performance review, complemented by virtual support available between meetings.

Collaborative Cohort Model: We're building a supportive team environment where Clinical Partnerships Managers work together, sharing resources, creative approaches, and community engagement opportunities. This cohort approach ensures you're never working in isolation.

Administrative Partnership: Once you've established connections with potential partners, our dedicated administrative support team takes over to navigate contracts and overcome implementation hurdles, allowing you to focus on what you do best - building relationships.

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed therapist in your state with active, valid license
  • Bandwidth and availability to engage in consistent community outreach
  • Comfortable with public speaking and group presentations
  • Engaging and outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills
  • Business acumen - comfortable discussing how partnerships impact top-line and bottom-line revenue
  • Established professional network within the mental health field
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the designated territory

Why Join Motivo? Motivo means "foundation" - and that's exactly what we're building for the mental health field. We focus on clinical supervision because the guidance, feedback, and support this relationship provides the foundational skills therapists need to help their clients, manage their caseloads, and find joy in their work for a long time to come.

The Crisis We're Addressing:

  • 56% of the U.S. population lives in a Mental Health Shortage Area (MHSA)
  • 48,000 new therapists graduate and enter the workforce every year
  • 57% of those new graduates leave before reaching licensure

At Motivo, we believe that new therapists emerging from graduate school are the best possible solution to the mental health worker shortage currently affecting behavioral health organizations. Our mission is to give them the best possible foundation so they can begin a life-long career helping people.

For the Field: Help create a supervision community that prioritizes quality training over productivity metrics, ensuring therapists receive proper support regardless of their work setting.

For You: Transform your professional network into a sustainable income stream while doing work that directly benefits the mental health community you're already part of.

For the Future: Be part of the first therapist-owned organization that's actually changing how clinical supervision works, not just talking about it.

Ready to Make an Impact? If you're a licensed therapist with strong community connections and the drive to help us share Motivo's value with the mental health field, we want to hear from you. This is your opportunity to turn your professional relationships into meaningful work that pays well and creates lasting change.
