Transform Your Network Into Impact and Income

Are you a senior-level professional with trusted, first-name-basis relationships with decision-makers in behavioral health organizations? Join Motivo, the first therapist-owned organization revolutionizing clinical supervision, as a Behavioral Health Partnerships Manager.

About This Opportunity

We're seeking accomplished professionals who have direct, personal access to decision-makers in our target market and the credibility to secure introductions immediately. This role leverages your established relationships to introduce Motivo’s clinical supervision platform to organizations that can benefit most.

As a Behavioral Health Partnerships Manager, you’ll facilitate warm introductions between Motivo and behavioral health organizations needing workforce solutions. You can approach your contacts with a genuine win-win opportunity that benefits them, their teams, and the communities they serve.

What Makes This Role Special

This is not traditional sales or business development. You’re leveraging relationships you’ve already built to introduce a solution that addresses one of behavioral health’s most critical challenges. Motivo handles all sales execution, contracting, and implementation - your role focuses solely on relationship facilitation and strategic introductions. This is an opportunity to be part of a movement that's reshaping how clinical supervision works in our field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate warm introductions to decision-makers within your professional network
  • Engage with community providers, private practices, and healthcare organizations
  • Provide market intelligence and strategic insights within your area of expertise
  • Participate in occasional strategic consultation calls with our team
  • Support handoff process to ensure smooth transition to our Growth team

Performance Expectations

No minimum quotas or performance requirements. Success is measured by the quality of introductions and partnerships that result from your network activation.

Training & Support Structure

Comprehensive Onboarding: You'll receive thorough initial training to ensure you're equipped with everything needed to represent Motivo effectively and understand our unique value proposition.

Ongoing Support: Regular check-in meetings provide consistent guidance, strategy refinement, and performance review, complemented by virtual support available between meetings.

Administrative Partnership: Once you've established connections with potential partners, our dedicated administrative support team takes over to navigate contracts and overcome implementation hurdles, allowing you to focus on what you do best - building relationships.

Required Qualifications

  • Senior-level experience with proven credibility in behavioral health, healthcare systems, or related industries - clinical background helpful but not required
  • Direct access to decision-makers (C-suite executives, clinical directors, program managers) at target organizations
  • Established reputation that opens doors and facilitates trust-based conversations
  • Business acumen - comfortable discussing how partnerships impact revenue, operations, and organizational effectiveness
  • Strong communication skills - comfortable with public speaking and group presentations
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare or behavioral health background (clinical, administrative, or executive experience)
  • Previous leadership roles in mental health organizations, healthcare systems, or related fields
  • Industry knowledge of clinical supervision requirements, licensing processes, and workforce challenges
  • Network connections with community mental health centers, group practices, healthcare systems, or behavioral health organizations

Compensation Package

  • Commission based: 10% of first-year revenue from successfully closed partnerships
  • Payment structure: 25% upon contract execution, 75% at 12-month mark following the contract’s execution

Why Join Motivo? Motivo means "foundation" - and that's exactly what we're building for the mental health field. We focus on clinical supervision because the guidance, feedback, and support this relationship provides the foundational skills therapists need to help their clients, manage their caseloads, and find joy in their work for a long time to come.

The Crisis We're Addressing:

  • 56% of the U.S. population lives in a Mental Health Shortage Area (MHSA)
  • 48,000 new therapists graduate and enter the workforce every year
  • 57% of those new graduates leave before reaching licensure

At Motivo, we believe that new therapists emerging from graduate school are the best possible solution to the mental health worker shortage currently affecting behavioral health organizations. Our mission is to give them the best possible foundation so they can begin a life-long career helping people.

For the Field: Help create a supervision community that prioritizes quality training over productivity metrics, ensuring therapists receive proper support regardless of their work setting.

For You: Transform your professional network into a sustainable income stream while doing work that directly benefits the mental health community you're already part of.

For the Future: Be part of the first therapist-owned organization that's actually changing how clinical supervision works, not just talking about it.

Ready to Make an Impact? If you're a licensed therapist with strong community connections and the drive to help us share Motivo's value with the mental health field, we want to hear from you. This is your opportunity to turn your professional relationships into meaningful work that pays well and creates lasting change.
